UAE flights status: Check latest Emirates, Etihad, Air Arabia and flydubai delays and cancellations
Several regional services remain affected while international routes gradually return
DUBAI – UAE flight operations remain mixed as Emirates, Etihad Airways, flydubai and Air Arabia continue running services while some flights face cancellations, delays and diversions.
Passengers travelling from Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah should check their individual flight status before leaving for the airport, as airlines can make operational changes at short notice.
Several international carriers are also restoring services to the UAE, although a number of airlines continue to keep Dubai and Abu Dhabi routes suspended.
Emirates
Emirates is operating several key Gulf services, although some flights remain disrupted.
On the Dubai-Bahrain route, EK837 and EK839 are operating.
The Dubai-Kuwait service EK857 is also scheduled to operate.
However, EK945 from Dubai to Basra has been cancelled.
Other Emirates services affected include:

Etihad Airways
Etihad continues to operate several services from Abu Dhabi, with some individual flights affected by operational issues.

- EY446 Abu Dhabi-Manila: Diverted because of an airport closure
- EY447 Manila-Abu Dhabi: Expected to be delayed

Air Arabia
Air Arabia continues to have cancellations on several Gulf routes.
The affected services include:

- G9107 Sharjah-Bahrain: Cancelled
- 3L020 Abu Dhabi-Kuwait: Cancelled
Travellers booked on these services should check directly with Air Arabia for rebooking arrangements and any changes to their journey.
flydubai
flydubai continues to operate its network, but passengers should allow additional time when travelling from Dubai.
The airline advises passengers to arrive at least four hours before departure, complete online check-in where available and confirm their flight status before travelling.
The latest information also includes disruptions on selected services, making individual flight checks particularly important.

International services
International airlines are taking different approaches to restoring their UAE networks.
- Turkish Airlines has resumed services to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, while flights to Iran remain suspended.
- Air France has also resumed flights to Dubai and Riyadh, while Beirut services remain suspended until September 13.
- Qatar Airways is operating multiple daily Dubai services and has restored flights to Bahrain, Kuwait and Erbil. Delays remain possible.
- Air India and Air India Express have restored their full Gulf networks, although further regional airspace restrictions could affect individual services.
- IndiGo is operating selected Middle East services while continuing to monitor the situation.
- flynas is operating daily services to Dubai, Doha and Bahrain.
- Jazeera Airways is operating selected flights to Dubai, although intermittent closures affecting Kuwait International Airport and its airspace could cause disruption.
Routes still suspended
Several international airlines continue to keep UAE services suspended.
- Air Canada: Dubai services suspended until mid-January 2027
- British Airways: Dubai and Abu Dhabi services suspended, with Dubai services scheduled to resume on October 25 at reduced frequency
- Cathay Pacific: Dubai suspended until October 25; Riyadh until October 26
- Singapore Airlines: Singapore-Dubai suspended until October 24
- ITA Airways: Dubai suspended until October 24
- Finnair: Helsinki-Dubai suspended until October 24
- Philippine Airlines: Manila-Dubai suspended until October 2
- AirBaltic: Dubai suspended until October 24
- Korean Air: Incheon-Dubai suspended until further notice
- Pegasus: Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah services suspended
- Virgin Atlantic: London-Dubai suspended for the foreseeable future
- Lufthansa, Eurowings and SWISS also continue to have Dubai services suspended through October 24 for operational reasons. Eurowings plans to resume Dubai flights from November 1.
Regional routes
The wider Middle East network remains uneven.
Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS and Edelweiss continue to suspend or restrict services to several destinations, including Abu Dhabi, Amman, Beirut, Dammam, Riyadh, Erbil, Muscat and Tehran.
Eurowings has resumed Beirut services but continues to suspend flights to Erbil until at least September 20. Its Amman and Jeddah services are scheduled to return later in the year.
These differing timelines highlight that airlines are making individual decisions based on route conditions and operational assessments.

Passengers flying from the UAE should:

- Arrive at least three hours before departure, or earlier if advised.
- Allow four hours when flying from Dubai with flydubai.
